Stroke Recovery

A stroke occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is interrupted, either due to a clot (ischaemic stroke), a bleed (haemorrhagic stroke), or a temporary blockage (TIA or mini-stroke). It can lead to sudden symptoms such as facial drooping, slurred speech, arm weakness, or confusion. The long-term effects vary depending on which side of the brain is affected and may include paralysis, speech or vision problems, memory issues, and changes in behaviour. At Neuro Physio East, we understand the impact of a stroke can be life-altering, and we work closely with individuals and their families to support recovery, rebuild movement, and regain independence-one step at a time.
